Ordering at The Bonsaist

If you have found your new bonsai tree, you can easily order it in our webshop. You can do this as follows: 

1: Choose the desired tree along with for instance a bonsai fertilizer and add it to the shopping cart.

2. If you found what you were looking for, go to your cart (top right) and click on 'checkout'.

3. Are you already a customer at The Bonsaïst? Then log in with your details and checkout.

You can then pay for your order using iDEAL, VISA, PayPal, Mastercard, Klarna and more. When you've done this you're done! When the order has been successfully completed you will see this on your screen and you will receive a confirmation email along with your invoice.

Delivery & Processing Times

Bonsai is a unique natural product and must be packed and shipped with great care. We only select the very best Bonsai for you. Once the right tree has been selected, it will be taken from the greenhouse. Once taken from the greenhouse, it will be packed and shipped the same day, to ensure that your tree will arrive in a good and healthy state. Therefore, upon ordering our delivery time is 3 to 5 working days.

Shipping Costs & Information

The shipping costs for orders under €50 are €4,95. All orders of €50 or more come with completely free shipping.

The Bonsaïst is committed to reducing its carbon footprint. All our packages are shipped via DHL, with whom we work to ensure C02-neutral shipping. This means that we pay an additional fee to offset 100% of our shipments with DHL.

Moreover, we want to provide you with the most clear, comfortable and flexible shipment process, which is why we also pay extra for evening delivery with DHL, and even delivery on Saturday. This means that even after standard working hours, or on your free day on the weekend you will be able to obtain your order. Altogether this results The Bonsaist having delivery times from Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 21:30.

Shipment updates and alerts

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number of your package. This number can be used to track the shipment, giving you a clear idea when you can expect your order. Whether these emails arrive in the inbox or the spam folder depends on your mailbox setting. If you have not received any emails, please check your spam folder.

What does the carrier do if I'm not at home?

The package is offered again, delivered to the neighbors or left at a pickup point. For detailed information about your order please check your track & trace code. DHL always leaves a bill and if they forget you can see it on the track & trace. If both these options do not work please send us an email to
